This year’s MLK Event will feature a variety of activities, including:
Lunch with community members
Decorating care bags
Art station
Volunteer Duties:
In addition to assisting with the activities above, volunteers will help with event preparation and cleanup. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.

Sign-Up and Confirmation
1. How do I sign up to volunteer?
Use this link only: www.kingsbayy.org/volunteer/
2. How do I know if I’m confirmed?
You’ll get a confirmation email when you sign up, plus two reminder emails before the
event. If you don’t get any emails, you’re not on the list—make sure to check your spam
folder too.
3. What’s the waitlist?
If spots are full, you can sign up for the waitlist using the same link. If space opens up, you might get invited to join. Important: Being on the waitlist doesn’t mean you’re confirmed for the event.
4. How can I find out about future volunteer events?
Join the waitlist at the same link—you’ll be the first to hear about new events.
Waivers and Requirements
5. Do I need to fill out a waiver?
– If you’re under 18 and haven’t done one before: Yes.
– If you’ve already submitted one: No.
– If you’re 18 or older: No waiver needed, but bring a photo ID.
6. How do I submit my waiver?
Bring it with you, or fill it out online and email it to: volunteer@kingsbayy.org
Cancellations
7. I can’t come anymore. What do I do?
Email us ASAP at volunteer@kingsbayy.org so someone else can take your spot.
8. I didn’t get my hours letter. Who do I contact? Email volunteer@kingsbayy.org and we’ll resend it.
9. When will I get my volunteer hours letter?
We’ll email it to you the week after the event.
