Zumen Javed is our SONYC Assistant Site Supervisor located at P.S. 206 whose primary goal is to ensure proper implementation of programming, including activities, student participation, supervision of youth and staff. Along with developing and maintaining strong working relationships with staff, youth, parents, and the school. She has been with the Kings Bay Y since 2017, throughout the school year and summer sessions. During this time, she is an undergraduate student at Baruch College majoring in Operational Management and minoring in Psychology. In her spare time, Zumen enjoys traveling, painting, and designing. Zumen believes it is important to be humble in your confidence and yet courageous in your character. Her passion is showing strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and support members of a team.
