Pura Stridiron has been with us since 2005. She has grown from being a UPK assistant teacher to our Site Supervisor of the Ave.W After School Academy. Pura is very dedicated to the families and children in the community she serves. She truly feels pride in seeing children of her program grow and also become part of the Kings Bay Y team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and cooking new recipes. Pura believes it is easier to build strong children than repair broken adults.
