Eran Hakak was born and raised in Ramat Gan Israel. Over the last decade, Eran has belonged to Knafaim Shel Krembo, a youth movement for kids with special needs, and IGY, an organization that provides a safe place for LGBTQ+ teens. During the past year he has worked with URJ (Union for Reform Judaism), first as a summer camp counselor in Wisconsin and then as a teen counselor at Heller High, an international high school in Israel. He served in the IDF as an officer, with soldiers in basic training.
