Ages 8-11

October 17 – December 5, 2021

Sundays: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of yoga through principles of alignment, breathwork, visualization practices (meditation), and yoga philosophy. Students will be introduced to dozens of yoga poses through step-by-step guidance, demonstrations, and individualized assistance. Emphasis will be placed on mindfulness techniques to allow students to manage stress efficiently while improving their focus and concentration – on and off the mat. 70% movement/breathing and 30% meditation, history/philosophy, and discussion.

Be ready to move, and come dressed in comfortable clothing! No shoes are necessary.
