Kings Bay Y
Letter from the Director
Dear Camp Families & Friends,
I am honored to introduce myself as the new Senior Director of Programs here at the Kings Bay Y.
First, a little about me. I’ve been privileged to spend the last 13 years developing, branding and implementing multiple programs aimed at children ages 3 – 15. Working with children is my passion and I’m proud that I’ve had an opportunity to become an innovator in the youth sector.
While my official title is Director of Programs, please note that camp is a top priority. I look forward to help build upon the incredible foundation already in place. However, to do this I need the help of our families. Camp is and always will be a two-way street, with the collective voice and input of our remarkable families a central component. We strive to be a home away from home for our campers. The goal of this program and the Kings Bay Y as an agency is to have a lifetime cycle that spans multiple generations within our community. We look forward to potentially having your grandkids as our campers some years down the line!
Camp is a place where memories are created that last a lifetime. I cannot stress these words enough as I get to see and hear regularly the stories (and real-life occurrences) that happened as a result of camp. Side note: I would love to share some of these stories with you!
I look forward to having the opportunity to meet and speak with our families in the weeks and months leading up to camp. Please know I am always here whenever needed, as my door will always be open. Do not hesitate to ever reach out about anything on your mind! Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 718-648-7703 ext. 223.
