An update to our Kings Bay Y Community

Dear Families,

As you may have heard, Governor Cuomo has signed an executive order putting NY State “on pause” effective 8 p.m. March 22nd, meaning that all non-essential workers must work from home and everyone is required to keep six feet apart in public. Details on the executive order are available here.

For the Kings Bay Y, what this means, first and foremost, is that our building is closed until further notice. We know that we are all operating under new circumstances and navigating a daily reality that seems very surreal.

Q: What date will the Kings Bay Y resume its normal operations?
A: The Kings Bay Y will resume our normal operations based upon the guidance and recommendations of the CDC and NC DHHS, with the health and safety of our community as our primary responsibility.

Q:  What are the implications for April payments?
All April payments for our ongoing programs have been suspended.

Q:  What happens to my membership?
We have placed a freeze on the membership and you will be given extended membership credit for the days our operations are suspended.

Q: What happens to the remainder of my classes / programs that I have already pre-paid for?
We will extend full credit and/or offer make-up classes when we resume our operations.

Please reach out to us with any questions at 718-648-7703 or info@kingsbayy.org  Our staff members are working from home and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
