It's a Girl Thing/Krav Maga Training

Last Sunday of every month, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

This new program at the Kings Bay Y is a teen female self-defense program that will develop a wide array of valuable life skills that the teens will carry with them always. These skills include confidence, awareness, health and empowerment, and decreasing the chance of the participants becoming a “victim” in both physical and mental contexts. The program also includes monthly leadership sessions led by a Rabbi. These sessions relate the teens’ trainings back to Jewish values and history. Finally, the graduating teens will hold seasonal workshops for over 600 youth across the Y’s after-school and teen department.
